I won't be telling you any such thing.
You could build a small-scale model of that with two lowly ferrite toroids that are kept a mm apart, and run the "three inductance values" experiment, with no short circuit, a short circuit loop through only one core, or a short circuit loop through both. And compare the outcome with that of a binocular core.
If nobody does it before then, I might run these experiments next weekend or so.
