I’m torn on the assisted suicide topic
As someone who is dealing with my father that was diagnosed with a horrible neuro cognitive disease (corticobasil syndrome) I go back and forth about this.
I want my dad to be around for as long as possible but both his physical and mental capacity is deteriorating at a rapid pace and not sure if it makes any sense to prolong the situation.
My sister recently had to put a dog down and he asked if we could do the same thing for him when he was ready…
We do not have that option in America but if he asks for it why wouldn’t we consider going up to Canada?
