Playing with #FreeBSD on my spare laptop and have successfully gotten a #Bastille test jail up and running. I can ssh into it from with in the laptop. But I think my understanding is a tad wrong ?
My laptop is on 192.168.0.166 and the jail named test is 192.168.0.24 with network access.
So as I said i can ssh into test no problems from withing the laptop on 192.168.0.166 but I cannot ssh into 192.168.0.24 outside of the laptop. Is this how it is supposed to be ?
Sorry for my stupidness I just assumed that 192.168.0.24 would be available on my home network too kind of seperate from the laptop ???
