I noticed this in Trump's first term. Scott Adams (Dilbert) made serious sport of taking all this chaos and bullying and writing it up like it was 3d chess moves. At the time I found it entertaining for about 2 days, and then realized it got really old really quick. And this style of leadership would totally work too .... if everyone walked on egg shells to avoid angering the leader, and rushed to appease him whenever he did blow up on something. I recognize this strategy of wielding power by being the one in authority and randomly and unpredictably having fits of anger. I'm starting to get the sense that the world doesn't want to get pushed around like this though ... ? And if you are on the side of Trump, this chaos and anger can be a little fun ... to see the tears of all those groups we have been convinced are the bad guys. I used to think my conservative friends and family would quickly catch on and see the bigger picture, but I've completely given up on that hope. I don't know where we go from here ... somehow reality will establish some sort of equilibrium ... but it doesn't feel like it will be a very good or very stable situation for a very long time. :-(
