Aargh! What a nightmare.

I had a lot of fillings back them but it's likely I needed them. The black heavy 'gas mask' was so awful I clearly remember it decades later.

My concern now is that children with teeth in terrible condition aren't getting the care they need.

Much is down to parents not doing anything to prevent dental decay (like mine) but that's no consolation for a child in pain.
