you always seem to have some issue with Plasma. I think you may be a little biased, or you were feeling a bit of TWM nostalgia and wenr back at the first sight of trouble. I've been using plamsa for the last 7 years nonstop and only had two issues: one when Plasma 6 came in and one of my widgets wasn't compatible, and the other was just the other day when an upgrade installed QT6 alongside QT5 and created some conflict between dependencies.
