The bridge over the Vitim River is considered the most dangerous bridge in Russia. It connects two Russia's regions – the Republic of Buryatia and Zabaykalsky Krai.
This "gap-toothed" row of blackened sleepers placed on metal crossbeams was built in the 1980s. The "bridge" is as wide as a truck. With no railings. It is half a kilometer long. It has been off-limits since 2016, but drivers regularly take the risk to deliver cargo. It's the only shortcut for thousands of km.
