I am deeply heartbroken by what we’re going through
Heartbroken for my child and all that he’s forced to endure
Heartbroken for being deprived of even our most basic rights.
While others rejoice at the rain, we fear it
My children are terrified of it — because to them, rain means flooding, cold, and sleepless nights.
They have no warm clothes to protect them
I’m heartbroken by everything.
Truly, I’ve lost all hope.
