Everyone talks about Bitcoin ETF flows.
Almost nobody talks about Monero.
For years, the narrative has been the same:
"Monero is dead."
No ETFs.
No corporate treasury buyers.
No Wall Street marketing.
No institutional adoption story.
Yet XMR hit all-time highs in January 2026 with none of that.
Why?
The market was repricing something much of the industry had abandoned:
Fungibility and financial privacy.
Bitcoin is becoming digital gold.
Monero is becoming digital cash.
It's hard to argue that privacy is a dying use case when the market keeps proving otherwise.
