can we be certain that our phones are really off? Off enough to prevent geolocation? I’ve seen claims that radios remain minimally powered even when off. Are those just claims by the ultra-paranoid or plausibly true? I wonder if this claim been tested? Seems like it would be easy to test with the right tools.
