some call me a liberal for what I will profess, a centrist even

I, generally, try to keep my analysis grounded in reality

would I prefer that a different group be leading the resistance in Palestine? sure, the DFLP, Fatah, or anyone else really that's more secular and progressive would've been better

however, the currently existing truth on the ground is that no real resistance exists without Hamas, as Israel made sure to wipe out any movements that could be more sympathetic in the view of a western audience

so, Hamas is the lesser evil that exists, and I give it my critical support, I don't agree with their politics, but I think their resistance is better than nothing

do I agree with everything the Algerians did to those french settlers? do I agree with their current governening structure? no, but what they did was good.

an extremist authoritarian islamic government structure is preferable to genocide, and it's preferable to apartheid, that's all.

there are greater and lesser evils in the world, if the US government was overthrown by (trying to think of leftists I don't agree with and could plausibly do this) some anticommunist anarchists, I'll be all for it.
