In the United States in 2022, there were 1,504,500 fire incidents. 9.5% of these were in non-residential buildings, or about 142,927. That is about 391 non-residential building fires per day. I got these statistics from FEMA.
Yet whenever a fire burns in a non-residential building in Moscow area it somehow becomes "news" in the West. Well more accurately it becomes "war porn".
