Remember that time Dublin City Council handed over most of the public space at Portobello Harbour for two years to facilitate a private commercial development?

And remember Owen Keegan assured us this was fine because he had done a deal with the developer and they would fund the redesign and redevelopment of the public space?

Well, the hoarding finally came down this week and the space has been returned to the public, with half of the granite paving replaced by tarmac and no redesign.
