Monday morning and a bear breaks through the screen door of my friends house and goes inside looking for food.
So I get a call: "Hey you want a bear?"
Monday evening I skin and gut the bear. And all Tuesday is spent butchering, making burger, and rendering the fat.
Since then I have traded half the bear meat for homestead raised pork.
My buddy who shot the bear also gave me a frozen 22lb moose neck for my troubles as well.
So far it has been a blessed week for me, and a really shitty week for the bear.
