DE regulates wages in the public sector by law so there is no higher pay if you work in a shortage profession. Jobs are not advertised with a salary offered. They ask you what you want to earn & take you if you under sell yourself. The higher skilled will be skipped if they try to maximise their income & get under-cut. There is absolutely zero mobility between professions. So what happens: your income is static & low & you have to rent: you never ever gain assets from working.
