When I hear of 15minute or 23minute standing ovation at a film festival, I have many questions. Don't the audience have other films to watch? Was there no other film coming up right after this one? (15-23 minutes is enough time for a short film or two!) And above all, what do the filmmakers be doing while everyone is clapping and cheering for them? I mean, no one has every figured out what to do while they sing for "happy birthday to you" and that lasts like 30 seconds. So many questions!
