Aleph Alpha, a German AI startup, is preparing to rule itself out of the running in the large language model (LLM) market, instead focusing on a broader generative AI-support play. The company's CEO, Jonas Andrulis, believes that just having an European LLM is not sufficient as a business model and that the company needs to pivot to stay competitive.
