current consensus says: do what you want with it. so it makes sense why you advocate the way you do. you have a use for arbitrary data, and I do not blame you for serving your interests.
but it also makes sense why BIP110 advocates argue the way they do. they have no need for arbitrary data, and I do not blame them for serving their interests either.
right now, i have no use for arbitrary data; it does not serve any interest of mine. I am on a BTC standard; it is my chosen money.
