we don't have a choice of voting location, you have to go to the one you are assigned - usually a local primary school, sometimes a church hall or community centre. They are open from 7am to 10pm. And elections are always on a thursday.

we don't even get an "I voted" sticker.

I miss going in person, had to get a postal vote, but at least that means I didn't have to scramble to try and get photo ID when they brought that in. The wooden booths and the pencil, aw.
