What is your take on people that say feeding homeless people only encourages them to stay homeless?I think there's a lot of factors that would lead someone to these beliefs, but the main one is capitalism. Believing that unhoused (or homeless depending on how one views themselves) people want to be homeless is propaganda designed to make you afraid. Capitalism doesn't want people to have compassion and care for others because that can't be effectively monetized.
