My 8yo has hair that doesn’t fit the cis ‘norm’ because they like it that way. A boomer family member is pressuring us to make them change it, because, in their words, “you know how it is for people who are different right now”
Like, I don’t even know where to start with that. What the actual fuck. Forcing people to be different than what they are is what caused all this shit - it’s not the solution. Holy fuck people.
