As a guy in cyber-security, I disagree with this. C is superior because it is not dependency heavy. The more dependencies something has the more insecure it is due to higher risk of supply chain attack. Higher level programming languages are just absolutely horrendous when it comes to the complexity being offloaded to a dependency tree hell.

C is superior to crappy python and nodeJS and whatever "modern programming" language junk there is.
