is this similar to the pushback from the community? Concerns about thr ownership and costs of the facility versus publicly owned and managed facilities?
Sorry to be asking, it’s just something I’ve been struggling with understanding in my own research and reading. A lot of times it seems like it’s essentially just a NIMBY “I don’t want this near me” kind of thing which if just something I don’t get. I don’t see substations with this level of resistance. Transmission lines sometimes, but that’s usually more on specific routing and not “don’t build this”
