I don't usually complain about things like this but every single time I try to use inkscape it is an exercise in extreme frustration.
I'm watching a YouTube video of a guy. He types in "text" and stretches it and clicks on a color and the text turns that color.
I type in "text" and stretch it and click on the same color in the same color picker and nothing happens. I have clicked in every single rational choice of options on the screen.
Something like this happens every single time I use this.
