For years I was thinking the opposite because if 8 billion of people will use it it's impossible to not make mempool full again, but after I thought it through again now I'm thinking it differently. Maybe for a short period of time (1-2 halvings) there will be congestion, but after that for just the smallest transaction nobody will pay onchain the 170-180 sat fee because it will cost a fortune for a relatively small transactions. Everything will be done through LN. I think the big banks, exchanges, central banks are not enough to fill the mempool. Your thoughts?
