I worked with a guy who would become extremely paranoid/jealous of other people’s personal projects/endeavors. He would sometimes try to insert himself into it if he thought he might benefit somehow. Otherwise, he would make critical comments or try to undermine you, or he would try to involve you in things that he was working on and then want you to make his projects a priority.
