"content": "My first visit to Scotland was over 20 years ago. I had a small Casio Exilim with me and also a Canon film SLR - my last film camera.\n\n\n\nBack then I was less ambitious than today, knew nothing about composition, light, or contrast. I photographed whatever I found interesting or beautiful. In a way, it was a freer, even liberated approach to photography. No concerns about whether something was sticking into the frame, whether the composition felt balanced, or whether too much clutter was obscuring the essential.\n\n\n\nToday, it almost feels like a curse. I can’t help but imagine every scene as a finished picture, asking myself whether it works, or whether something could be made of it in post-processing. That becomes especially clear when I’m on vacation and, instead of holiday snapshots, I come home with heaps of \"art\". 🤪\n\n\n\n#Photography #BlackAndWhite #Squared\nhttps://pixelfed.de/storage/m/_v2/343731392834939742/9c67e908a-279c2f/OT0Y1603jyqx/NyuKtZcL91Kys1iSc10d9LLNEwZZmjbteAtWiuWC.jpg\n",
