For what it’s worth, I don’t think of his “power” thing as being inherently in conflict with this. “Power to the people“ is about spreading that power around, making it diffuse and distributed. I think it’s a little reductive, but it doesn’t (inherently) undermine the ideas of democracy and constitutional law.
