some people on Reddit were stunned that Claude Code is half a million lines long, and in my (very limited) experience, this is just how LLM-generated code works. it starts off fine and it ends up doing VERY WEIRD, loopy, back-flippy, counter-intuitive stuff, and it **never gets shorter**. i can't wait to see where this stuff is in ~5yrs.
