Your vote isn't actually secret. It can be identified only under the authority of a court order in order to prevent the very rare cases of voter fraud. You may note a serial number being put against your name when you turn up and collect your ballot paper.
I don't particularly care about this. And since Google has gone shit I can't find the authoritative source, but you're quite capable of researching yourself.
