I spent the night with the boat tied to a mooring ball at Spencer Spit. Some wake overnight from boats, including the endless passing ferries about a mile away. After midnight it settled down. I slept okay and woke as the sky lightened to the sound of calling gulls. I’m having my coffee in bed with my pups right now. Still feeling achy for some reason — maybe stiffness setting in after pulling heavy crab traps Saturday? — but otherwise better than last night. (Getting old sucks.) (1/2)
