It still kinda annoys me that physicists found a way around the whole wave/particle duality and all that non-deterministic stuff around a century ago (search pilot wave theory) but they didn't go with it because the maths was a bit harder to do, even though it was more intuitive to what we observe in reality, so now we're stuck with the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics because it's the one that won out, and now we have to deal with everyone thinking that a cat can be both alive and dead inside a box at the same time even though Schrödinger originally intended that only as a critique, anyway in this essay I will ...
