If all it takes to tank the market is a shadowy Chinese startup called DeepSeek claiming that it spent less than $6 million on AI compute to create a LLM that is competitive with top LLMs that have collectively spent more than $100 BILLION, then either investors are dumb as rocks or AI researchers are.
