Hah! I was walking on the beach with a four other people and a guide when we saw two bears running directly at us from quite a distance away. The guide told us to freeze and we waited *hoping* the bears would ignore us and that they were just chasing each other. Sure enough they split up running at full tilt past us on either side. They kept right on running as if we were never there.
