There are seven kinds of BIP-110 detractors:
1. Low-info Bitcoiners:
Their favorite influencer or podcaster said it’s bad. That’s all they know.
2. Shitcoiners:
They truly despise it because it works and post exorcist-level tantrums daily.
3. Bitcoin Influencers:
They can see it rising but want to protect their status. They’re waiting for a clear victor.
4. Core Devs:
Obviously. It finally addresses the centralization they’ve enjoyed.
5. Corporate Interests:
They care about monetizing Bitcoin to their company’s advantage by pushing it to be more like Ethereum.
6. Intel Agencies:
They recognize that BIP-110 constitutes a significant blow to their influence.
7. Central Banks:
They can’t claim CBDCs are the future if they can’t portray Bitcoin as unserious.
