Most of the critiques throw at the amber app don't make hold because it solves for virtually all the different edge cases/ concerns raised
1. There is the option to only sign once for an app instead of having to sign all events every time.
2. Claims that a separate app is a barrier to onboarding is like claiming password managers and multi factor apps are a barrier to onboarding. Saying that our loud just sounds ridiculous
The only valid critique is that it isn't hosted on playstore and depending on who you ask, that might not be a bad thing.
