HERE"S HOW TONY'S MORNING IS GOING:
For context, i finished the job last thursday, sent her the invoice, she said she would look on Saturday. She did, then paid the invoice Sunday. Then apparently waited 5 days to say this:
Hi Tony,
There's a couple issues I have. I see so many different area's of paint in the new carpet. Stairs, living room, bedrooms, closests etc... There is way too many spots with paint. All the paint spots need to be removed. Can you correct this issue? In one of the bedrooms, there is a 2x4 laying in the closet along with 2 wood pieces. Do you know what this is for? Is it yours? You took the trim piece off the long blinds, and it’s still laying on the ground. I would appreciate if you take something off, you put it back on. I have no idea how to put the trim piece back up.
Please let me know if you can correct all the paint spots in the carpet.

Hi — I’m going to have to decline coming back for these items.
I did not remove the trim or blinds, and the wood pieces were not mine or materials I brought to the job. I’m also not aware of getting paint on the carpet, and based on what you described, I don’t believe those items are related to my work.
Because of that, I’m not comfortable accepting responsibility for or performing additional work on those items.
Her: I was just asking about the wood and trim pieces in the bedroom, because they were not there before you painted. I was just wondering if they were your or where they came from. The blind trim piece was not off the night before you painted. I didn't take it off before you painted. I really don't care about these 2 things. I was just asking. My main concern is all the paint spots.
As for all the paint spots, those were definitely not there before you painted. I painted the bathrooms before you painted the rest of the townhouse. These paint spots are very concerning. It's not just a few drips. It's super sad you have no respect or honor system for your clients or your work. You don't have any integrity.
