Some time I ago I bought a SanDisk 6TB G-DRIVE to attach to an M1 Mac Mini, solely for use as Time Machine destination for my MacBook Pro. It has now failed and corrupted itself for the third time and I think it is time to try another HDD instead.
Reviews for most consumer external HDDs show them as pretty unreliable. Anyone got any solid recommendations. I am not sure I want to go the whole NAS route, that gets super pricey very quickly and I do have the space Mac Mini to host it.
