Concerning the second point about visibility of the ships mast disappearing last on the horizon.

This point is interesting and I understand both flat earth and globe talking points on this matter.

What I am wondering is if we’re using the flat earth model and saying it is perspective which is causing the ship to disappear, then does perspective have objects disappear from the bottom to the top (like in the ship mast example)?
