“Nostr is an extremely important Lightning microeconomy!” stopped being a talking point because everyone here became absolutely disgusted with LN as a direct result of being the people that used it the most.
As the various executive personalities that received funding for doing LN stuff were the foundation of nearly all the fraud in Bitcoin, they abandoned this place because they don’t want to risk directing naive depositor/paypig eyeballs with honest evaluations from real people on how fucking bad their work product is. Because they want to try to bilk the paypigs for cash a few more times.
Quoting my older post here but maxis are like locusts who will move in and consume all the resources to make useless Bitcoin Ponzi schemes and VC bonfires and then move on. The VC and grant economy is dried up, and it all went to pointless retarded shit that did not help Nostr at all, merely enriching the pockets of fraud cartels full of people like nvk and Matt Odell. So now they are back to Twitter, where they frequently complain to support and get their critics suspended.
