I did a thing I never thought I would do and plugged headphones (DT 770 250 Ohm) directly into a computer and you know what? It's pretty good. I've always used a dedicated DAC/AMP but other than missing the control of a dedicated analog volume slider the Mini is just as good. I wouldn't use Planar Magnetics with it, but hey other than that I'm a fan.
I'll probably change my mind when I accidentally send the Mini flying off the table in a couple of days.
