The zombie apocalypse started on a Tuesday. You're alone in a forest, running, and the cell towers went down on day one.
It should feel like a movie. It doesn't, and it takes you a minute to see why: there's no soundtrack, just your breathing.
So you pull out your phone, open Localhost Recording Studio and make one. Run, run, run.
It's a free, open-source app that makes full songs from a style and some lyrics, on your own phone or computer. You don't need an account, and once the model is downloaded you don't need a signal either. The punk track in the video came out of the same engine. On a phone it's slow, a few minutes for every 10 seconds of music, so keep running.
It runs on Android (arm64, Android 14 or newer), on Macs with Apple Silicon, and on Linux.
