the MBA folks have a term BATNA, which is basically "what if I don't make a deal" to figure out what the cost of not making a deal is. Good to decide ahead of time. I imagine yours is low in this case, but understanding it means you can come in prepared to walk if they don't come up with something better than that alternative.
