I think they have always been that way. They are producing so much now that its impossible to miss it. I remember watching house of cards and orange is the new black, some of their first shows. Both those shows had the gays and teannies in it. I dont think daredevil did. I wonder if marvel studios didn't allow it at that time. Still one of the best marvel TV shows they've made.
