GM nostr fam ☀️

Ritual:

I begin everyday with a prayer before taking my first sip of coffee

I thank Mother Earth for another beautiful day

I thank the sun and the sky

I thank the birds and insects for their beautiful songs

I thank the farmers who planted, nurtured and harvested these coffee beans

I thank the bees and beekeepers for the honey that sweetens my coffee

I thanks the cows and farmers for the milk

I thank the farmers and trees for the vanilla and cinnamon

I thank the people who ground and roasted the beans I’m about to enjoy

I thank the person who created and decorated the mug I’m about to drink from

I thank my brother Dan for looking over me and reminding me to live slow, take care of myself, love deeply and for inspiring me to create beauty

I offer great mother a gift of tobacco and I take a sip of coffee

It’s a ritual that allows me to express thanks every morning for being blessed with another day and for remembering how many generous acts went into my morning coffee
