Spam metrics such as the bloating of the UTXO set and a large increase in dust outputs from taproot transactions since 2023 suggest there has been demand for it. If you have any metrics to suggest that the demand for spam is reducing, I would be interested to see them.
Here we have ord.io a company founded in 2023 that has been in operation up until the moment where plebs’ hostility to spam has increased shown in the release of bip110 and the adoption of knots. Coincidence that ord.io has shut down as hostility to spam has increased? Maybe, but I think not.
