17 years bashing on my A1243 keyboard, and it's still going strong.
However, it’s worth noting that I recently bought an A1843 (first generation "Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad") to use out and about: weighs 100g less, bluetooth, thinner & easier to carry. Though still prefer typing on the A1243.
