I think the problem is that people remain epistemically committed to the idea that all communication is dialogue, and therefore part of some possible exchange.

But fascism, sexism, hatred, and similar forms of expression are not simply bad arguments within communication. As modes of communication, they do not really exist. They are failures of communication: a collapse of conceptual boundaries that determines, before any exchange can occur, which thoughts can be reached and felt as truth, while everything else is reduced to noise.

This is not something that can be debated, nor does it deserve a forum for debate, because the conditions for good-faith communication have already been destroyed.
