Sorry, but I can't resist thinking, "This is not news to me..." (and no doubt many, many others. Witnessed and experienced from the age of 5 in my case.)
And now I'm thinking of Women’s Suffrage and how change rarely comes without a 'fight', certainly when it means the powerful giving up the control they enjoy.
I think I'm generally a positive person, but in this instance, I am not hopeful.
