Anthropic built separate infrastructure to make sure the government never loses access. Regular users and developers are on their own.

Or maybe it's not an accident... If you wanted to ensure foreign adversaries couldn't use the same AI tools the US government relies on, quietly throttling public access during critical windows would be a pretty effective way to do it.

Probably just a coincidence.... or priorities.
